Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our retreats are open to both men and women. They are designed for anyone feeling in need of rest, balance, or a reset — whether you’re completely new to wellbeing practices or already on your self-care journey.
-
Not at all. Everything we offer is beginner-friendly and optional. You’re invited to take part in what feels right for you and simply rest if that’s what you need.
-
Absolutely. This is something we hear often.
Many people arrive feeling as though they will never be able to fully switch off, and are often surprised by how effective the practices feel once they are gently guided through them.
That said, there is no expectation to feel a particular way. You do not need to force relaxation, empty your mind or have a certain kind of experience.
Your experience is your own, and you are welcome to take part in a way that feels right for you. We simply offer the space, structure and support for rest to become a little more possible.

Each retreat varies, but a typical day may include gentle movement, guided relaxation, mindfulness practices, nourishing food, and time to rest or reflect. We always build in space so nothing ever feels rushed or overwhelming.
-
We recommend comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and anything that helps you feel at ease (such as a journal or cosy layers). Full details are always sent ahead of your retreat.
-
We prioritise nourishing, balanced food that supports energy and wellbeing throughout the day. We also love working with brands that share our values around natural, wholesome ingredients.
-
Our retreats are held across Sheffield, North Yorkshire, Leeds and the Peak District, in unique and beautiful locations.
-
Absolutely. Many of our guests attend solo. Our retreats are designed to feel welcoming and inclusive, and people often leave having made new connections.
-
That’s completely normal. Many people feel this way before their first retreat. We create a very gentle, non-judgemental environment where you can fully participate or simply observe — whatever feels right for you.
-
Not at all. You don’t need any prior interest or experience — just a willingness to take some time for yourself.
